Abigale Le Miller bio

Abigale Lee Mills (born September 21 1965) was an American dance instructor, choreographer and reality TV host. Abby Lee Dance Company was started by her. It was a part of eight seasons of the show Dance Moms. Miller pleaded guilty in June of 2016 to the charge of felony bankruptcy fraud. Miller was sentenced for one and one-half years in federal prison. She was released on March 27, 2018. In April 2018, she was diagnosed with lymphoma which is a kind of cancer that renders it impossible for her to walk. In order to move about she relies on a wheelchair. Miller grew up in Penn Hills, Pennsylvania. Her mother taught her to dance at the Maryen Lorrain Dance Studio. Miller aged 14 at the time, was given the choreography and the coaching of one of her mother's dance teams. Miller took control of the studio and renamed Reign Dance Productions in 1995. Miller was certified by Dance Masters of America and was a member of Dance Masters of Pennsylvania Chapter #10 in 1986 but her membership was terminated in February 2012 and the DMA declaring that Miller's reality show Dance Moms was "a total misrepresentation of our dance educators and their students , and is damaging to the dance industry."
