In the old days (i.e. In the early 2020s, comedians might have had the opportunity to play for years in the UK before being invited to the TV panel and selling out arena tours. It's not an easy task at present. Comedy is one form of art which has managed to remain performed front of an audience, however, we'll probably not be seeing arena tours anytime soon. However there is a Bristol comedian has found a worldwide audience through a the social media lockdown. Abi Clarke didn't set out to be an internet popular. The 24-year-old living in Hen bury, with her parents, first started creating online videos "to establish a following of like-minded individuals who would appreciate my stand-up comedy. "I was doing a lot more shows in Devon for men 50 and over, so I started making online videos hoping that I could create an audience of like-minded people who would enjoy my stand-up comedy," Abi said.
